Organize Your Home for the Holidays
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. It’s the busiest and the most stressful as well. It’s the season for decorating, shopping, wrapping gifts, parties, cooking and entertaining guests.
It’s only a week before Christmas and your guests are coming over in a few days. There’s one problem, though. You’re living in a domestic chaos. How are you going to pull it off?

Make your bed every morning
Start your day by making your bed. It automatically makes the room clean and organized. Plus, it gets the bedroom dressed and ready for the day.
Everything off the floor
Put the throw pillows back on the sofa and the jackets on the hooks. Get all those shoes out of the floor and into the shoe basket. Have a way for your family to put their shoes away when they come in. The only things that belong on the floor are the furniture.
Everything has a place
Clutter is a magnet. Place one thing on the countertop, and the next you thing you know there’s a pile of stuff on the kitchen counter. Have a designated place for each item so you know where to keep it after use.
Remove the excess
Stuff has a way of accumulating. Try to go through your things a few times a year and get rid of those stuff you no longer need or use. After all, Christmas is the time for giving. Why not give some of your stuff away? You’ll feel a lot better after doing so.
One at a time
Never start a new project until you’re done with the last one. What does that exactly mean? If you’re done wrapping gifts, be sure to put away them all away and return the supplies in its proper place before you move on to the next task.
